The drug which relieves you from pain is the drug Esgic Plus. It acts as a relaxant too offering as a soothing balm on your tension headaches. The drug helps in relaxing muscle contractions concerned in a stress or tension headache.

How to Take Drug?

This drug should be consumed as per the doctor`s advice. Excess drug and consumption of the drug more often should be avoided. Surplus of Esgic Plus consumption for an extended time than the doctor`s instruction is also not recommended. The dosages for adults are 2 tablets or capsules in a four hour interval as required. If your Esgic Plus tablet or capsule includes acetaminophen of 325 mg or 500 mg, then the recommended dosage is 6 capsules or tablets daily. Do not forget to inform your doctor when your pain does not subsides and also when you are not relieved of your pain.
The medicine can be taken also with milk and food in case of stomach upsets. Following the doctor`s prescription on dosages is imperative else it may reason out to harm you.

Drug Precautions

In case the drug is not working as it had happened during your initial use of the same drug, it reveals that you at risk of attracting dependency on the drug. At this juncture please do not increase the dosage for getting more pain relief. If you are experiencing headaches frequently compared to the time before consuming this drug; this is significant if a fresh headache occurring within a day after the last dose is consumed, headaches are experienced daily, or headache is prolonged for few days.
It may now appear that you have a dependency on the drug. Increased headaches may be experienced if you keep on consuming the drug. Please consult your doctor on easing out your headache.

Drug Interactions

Please remember to inform your doctor in case you are already consuming drugs for allergy, cold, narcotic pain, sleeping pills, anxiety or depression. In case the alcoholic beverage consumption is more than thrice daily, then prior to consumption of acetaminophen, your doctor`s advice is crucial.

Side Effects

Following side effects may be observed- chest pain, bleeding on lips, crusting on lips, fever, fever with chill, swelling on the eyelids, swelling on lips, swelling on face, muscle cramps, muscle pain, scaly skin, breathing difficulty, itching, skin rash, ulcers, and sores. On experiencing the side effects, please inform your doctor urgently.

Missed Dose

If you have not followed the doctor`s prescription and missed a dose due to any reason, then simply take the dose immediately as you recall of the missed dose. By any chance if you remember of the missed dose almost close to your next dose, then it is advisable to leave out the missed one and return to the original dosing schedule. Please remember not to double dosages.

Overdose

If you have realized that you have undergone an overdose, then act quickly and take required medical attention.

Storage

Please keep this drug out of children`s reach. The drug should be stored away from direct light and heat. Storage in bathroom, nearby your kitchen sink, and other places of damp areas, is strictly not advised.
